Help/Meetings & Agendas

Meetings & Agendas

Create, build, and run bishopric and ward council meetings from start to finish.

For: All leaders

WardLeadership replaces the scattered notes and texts that usually build a meeting agenda. Each meeting has a date, time, location, and a structured list of items. You can fill the agenda ahead of time, open it during the meeting, and archive or delete it when you are done.

1. Create a meeting

Choose your workspace (Bishopric or Ward Council), open the Meetings page from the sidebar, and then click New meeting. Enter the date, time, and location.

2. Standard items

Every bishopric meeting usually starts with a prayer, spiritual thought, and handbook training. WardLeadership rotates these automatically so you do not have to remember whose turn it is. Tap the rotation to change it manually if someone is unavailable.

3. Add discussion topics and links

4. Open the meeting and follow up

During the meeting, keep the agenda open on a laptop or tablet. Mark topics as discussed and capture any tasks or needs before you move on. After the meeting, tasks and needs appear on the dashboard for follow-up.

5. Archive or delete

Finished agendas do not need to stay in the active list. Click Archive to keep the record but move it out of the way. Use Delete only if you are sure you want to remove the meeting; WardLeadership will ask you to confirm.

Best practices

  • -Create the next meeting right after the current one ends so nothing is forgotten.
  • -Add topics as they come up during the week so the agenda builds itself.
